Davenport Ward

We are a 20 bed mixed older person's acute ward which cares for people experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, who require assessment and treatment which cannot be provided in the community.

You may be admitted voluntarily or detained under the Mental Health Act.

We accept referrals through many different sources, including A&E, community teams or consultants.

We are a multi-disciplinary team, consisting of medical staff, registered mental health nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, dieticians, physiotherapists and support workers.

After your treatment has finished with us, we'll safely discharge you back into the community with follow ups from our community teams.
