We recognise the benefits of research to the future of healthcare.

We have a dedicated research and innovation team, which supports clinical research and service evaluation.  The information gathered is then used to make improvements to our services.

The team supports our staff to undertake research, whether they are experienced or just starting out on their research journey.  They make sure that any research projects are of the highest ethical and scientific quality.

We have also established an exciting partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University to drive forward research and innovation.

You can read more about our research and innovation projects in our quarterly bulletin.

We also have a dedictated young people's mental health research unit. This group of experts focus on undertaking research to improve our child and adolescent mental health service - and importantly, sharing our learning with partners.
