We’re now able to have two visitors for each patient at any one time, though some other covid restrictions remain in place to keep patients and staff safe.
This means you will still need to wear masks and wash hands regularly.

If you have a raised temperature, new cough, or sudden loss of taste or smell; or you have tested positive for covid please do not visit.

All visits must still be booked in advance, by contacting the ward or service where your loved one is staying. You can find their contact details using our services search page.

Visits are for one hour and visiting times will vary for each ward. Please contact the ward if you have any specific questions.

In the event of a covid infection on a ward, visiting will be immediately suspended.

On arrival and during the visit
  • Use hand sanitiser or wash your hands
  • Wear the face mask given to you, covering your nose and mouth
  • Cough or sneeze into the crook of their elbow; or use a tissue and dispose immediately and wash your hands
  • Keep bags, handbags and electronic devices to a minimum
  • Check out the hospital site maps to find your way around.
At the end of your visit
  • Our staff will escort you to the exit
  • Please use hand sanitiser or wash your hands when you leave

Thanks for your help in keeping staff and patients safe.
