Bury children's learning disabilities team

We support children with a moderate to profound level of learning disability, their families and carers.

Our team consists of three learning disability nurses.  

All interventions are based upon the following assessments: comprehensive behaviour assessments, health assessments and risk assessments.  

We offer support to other services around individual children, including: advice on health, behavioural and care issues, individual behaviour support and training, parenting advice and family work and training for staff and carers.
